The theme of Couples for Christ for 2015 is LOVE MORE! As Tito JT exhorted during last Monday's teaching, those are not just two words, those are the very words that we ought to live out. And so as early as now, we are already being prepared for the very beautiful, but at the same time very challenging theme.
Tonight, I saw this announcement on our Employee Portal:
You have been tagged by Couples for Christ! As CFC missionaries, how can we love God more?
Spending time at the Blessed Sacrament can be one expression of loving God more. How about you? What other ways can you think of and do to express loving God more? Post your #LoveMore expressions in your social media networks. Every post counts... every post will surely inspire others to post their own thoughts.
Also, tag your social media friends so they can do the same.
Go on, spread the love! #LoveMore #Day15
And so, here's my take. :)
The more I love, the more I live. Because life without love is meaningless... it's no life at all. I believe that to live in love or to love in order to live, means to become God's best - the person He created us and intended us to be.
So how can I live/love more and become God's best? Here's my formula:
THINK before you SPEAK. SPEAK with LOVE. LOVE without measure. :)
Before I utter a word, I must ask myself if what I am about to say is -
True
Helpful
Important/Inspiring
Necessary
Kind
The manner through which I speak must always be -
Sincere
Polite
Encouraging
Affirming
Kindly
I am to offer a kind of love that -
LastsIt may seem simple, but it's actually hard. It entails discipline, commitment, and a lot of grace from the Lord. But where else can we draw our strength from aside from the One who is LOVE Himself?
Others-centered
Values people
Expects nothing in return
So as we strive to love more, let's also pray more for God's love, grace, and guidance that we may be able to love as He loves and turn this seemingly hopeless world into a little piece of heaven. :)
How about you? How can you love more? :) |
