These Little Wonders

Being part of the BDJ Community is such a beautiful blessing. And one of the perks of being a bella, aside from having the best, most useful planner in the world, and enjoying great deals from partner brands, is attending events which aim to inspire and empower us women.  In my previous blog entry , I mentioned that I was able to tick off the first item on my BDJ travel checklist. Just last Saturday, I was able to tick off two more items: attend a BDJ event   and introduce the BDJ community to someone . ♥ When I got the very first email about the BDJ Women's Summit for this year, I immediately blocked off March 25 .  I was super excited to learn from them! ♥ A week before the event, I got an invite to the Old Navy sale  which also happened to be on the same date. During one of the activities in our teambuilding last month, we were asked to share about our greatest accomplishment.  Honestly, I couldn't think of any because I have never accomplished anything I consider significant for the past 30 years of my life. Such a waste, huh? Seriously, I think all of my so-called "accomplishments" were just normal, little milestones. Last year, my best friend got married. And I wrote about it here . :)  This year, she got pregnant! And we're all very excited to meet her baby girl. Little did we know, that she was more excited to meet us. And so, even before her seventh month, baby Raia was already out! She is currently at the neonatal ICU for close monitoring and medication until she gets ready to face the bigger world as an awesome baby. ♥ So, to aid in her medical expenses (mind you, they're overwhelming!), we're having a movie screening of Moana at SM Megamall Cinema 6 on the upcoming holiday, November 30, 2PM , which is also the 1st day of screening. For the third time, I signed up for the biggest business-to-blogger event ! According to their official list , I was among the first 200 who registered. Hindi masyadong excited . :D  Well, it has been an annual thing for me, since I first joined in 2013 . It's not just the freebies, but the opportunity to meet awesome bloggers and discover noteworthy products and businesses. For bloggers, it's a good venue to learn how to make the most of our blogs. And since one of my goals this year is to become a better blogger, I wouldn't want to miss Blogapalooza . :) For businesses, it's the best place to launch campaigns  and products, and probably open doors for employment (maybe you could find your next marketing personnel from the pool of amazing bloggers present in the event).  As of this writing, there are already 400 registered bloggers  (privileged to be one of them, and yes, this is to confirm my attendance as well :D) . Before going to the airport for my birthday journey , I first went to the biggest business-to-blogger event at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura. Since I had limited time, I already planned my "itinerary." The first thing I did when I arrive was to look for my friend, Mars. I found her and Ray at the Krispy Kreme booth. While I was waiting for them to finish designing their own doughnuts, a beautiful lady approached me and asked me if I could pose for Canon. I visited their booth, had my photo taken, had the camera registered, and got my own gift pack full of goodies. :)  Next booth we visited was Chooks To Go where Mars and I participated in their Kwelavan and won a bucket of chicken! :D  Then, Ray, Mars and I visited Ace Water Spa and Ace Hotel's booth where we also had our photos taken and got several goodies as well including a GC! :D  At that time, Mars and Ray had to leave so I was left to explore on my own.
