During one Mission Core Gathering, our Family Ministries Director shared his vision of a cluttered table filled with paper, pens, and pencils. Probably it looked something like this:
Suddenly, a strong wind blew leaving the papers piled up and the pens and pencils dancing above them. Words were being written and one striking statement was: Write His story. Then he explained that he sensed God telling him to go out, testify, and share to the whole world the greatest love story ever told. He exhorted everyone to make those pens and pencils dance by living a life of witnessing to God's greatness. Then our Chairman concluded the worship by restating these other prophecies:
- Look out and seek opportunities to love.
- The most important thing is the message of love.
- Live like Christmas lights. Be another Christ.
As I reflect on the messages, the Lord spoke to me in a distinctly clear manner. "Write My story." I asked Him, "What story, Lord? A lot has already been written about You. What else is left unsaid?" Then He replied, "My story is your story, My child. Share My life and My love by sharing your life."
Then I got it. :) Let me share how I described myself in one of my profiles online:
I am a twenty-something empowered and inspired woman who dares to make a difference and loves to influence people with my passion for my craft. I'm interested in anything beautiful - the things that can bring joy, laughter, love, and peace. Writing is my first love and no matter how busy my world can get, I always find time to express my thoughts with a pen and paper, and definitely with a blog. :)
God blessed me with this passion and talent if I may say. And the only way for me to bring Him back the glory is for me to use it in proclaiming how great He is and how much He has blessed me.
Everything I have is because of God. Everything I do is for Him. :)
This blog is not about me but about who God is in my life. This is not about how good I am in expressing my thoughts and opinions but about how generous God is and how clearly He manifests His love for us every moment of our lives.
I'm making those pens and pencils dance. This is indeed a life and love story because I am writing HIS story. ♥
Let every single man and woman all over the world experience Christ. Blog for God! :) |
