In God's Time :)

During Communion, we sang this very beautiful song:  In His time, in His time, He makes all things beautiful, in His time, Lord, please show me everyday, As You’re teaching me Your way, That You do just what You say, in Your time. In Your time, in Your time, You make all things beautiful, in Your time. Lord, my life to You I bring, May each song I have to sing, Be to You a lovely thing, in Your time. I am still waiting ...  waiting for the answers to my prayers,  waiting for my dreams to come true, waiting for promises to be fulfilled, waiting for forever to begin soon, waiting for God to surprise me in a major way! (alam na Niya yun :D) I am still waiting on God, still waiting for God. And there are still times when I feel I've been waiting for too long, but I will never give up on God, because in the first place, He has never given up on me. :) I will continue to wait, to hope and to trust because as God said (and I know He will ne

Becoming Another Christ

It all started with the Prayer for Detachment by St. Peter Faber, S.J. The thing about St. Peter Faber is that he evangelized people by befriending him. He didn't give hard core teaching about the Catholic faith but the friendship he offered said everything about it, and it was his genuine love and care that drew people to believe in God.  Here goes the prayer:  I beg of you, my Lord, to remove anything which separates me from You, and You from me. Remove anything that makes me unworthy of Your sight, Your control,  Y our reprehension; of  Y our speech and conversation, of  Y our benevolence and love. Cast from me every evil that stands in the way of my seeing  Y ou, hearing, tasting, savoring, and touching  Y ou; fearing and being mindful of  Y ou; knowing, trusting, loving, and possessing  Y ou; being conscious of  Y our presence and, as far as may be, enjoying  Y ou. This is what I ask for myself and earnestly desire from  Y ou. Am

Awesome God. Answered Prayers. :)

I am having an awesome month! Thank God for the little and big wonders He has been doing in the first eleven days of August. :)  To start the week right, let me count the blessings I've received and the prayers answered so far:  French Baker's Mango Crepe A La Mode - Such a sweet treat. Reward to self. :D I so love mango! ♥ This ♥ Privilege to be part of CFC East A's 25th Anniversary Reyes Haircutters Gift Certificates - When the emcees announced the prizes to be raffled off, I whispered to God, "Lord, sana yung Reyes Haircutters po yung makuha ko."  The emcee announced the first winner of the GCs and I was surprised to hear my name! Instant answered prayer! :) The gift of discernment. The gift of vocation. :) Row 4 Reunion! It was a night of fun, friendship, love, and learning. We talked about serious and mature stuff but we were never drained because we truly enjoyed the company of each other.  ♥ Photos are with JM. Haven'

Friday Inspiration: Ten Power Statements

Below is a list of ten beautiful words of wisdom to live by. I don't really know who originally said them but I received them through email this morning. Must have been sent from heaven to remind me how to live life to the fullest. :) Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout the journey. So why is a car's windshield so large and the rear view mirror so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move On. Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes a few minutes to burn, but it takes years to  write. All things in life are temporary. If they are going well, enjoy them, they will not last forever. If they are going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either. Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of  Gold! Often

Happiness :)

Happiness Is Uncovering What You Already Have* You have all you need for happiness, right now. You don't need to change anything. You just need to see what's already there.  The fantasies you're making in your mind can't ever come true. We can believe it coming true, but the reality will never match up with the fantasy.  You can find happiness within. Learn that you have some amazing things inside you, that they are beautiful if you learn to accept them for what they are - and not meet up with any fantasy.  Learn that life is always amazing as it is. And because happiness is within, you aren't subject to losing it because of other factors changing your source of happiness. This means stripping away the fantasies one by one. It means looking within, and learning to be OK with what you find.  It's not an overnight process, but the amazingness is all around you and actually within. No fantasies needed.  *Article from Belle De Jour Power Planner 2014

Hello, August! :)

So it's the first of August. And my day has been a roller coaster ride. Here are the highlights:  Family Matters It's my brother's birthday! And just like what he posted on his social media accounts, today is his first birthday away from our parents. I know how he struggled emotionally but then again, happiness is a choice and he chose to be happy and to make others happy as well. I'm just so proud of his "Isang Bitbit" project. :)  Mama was rushed to the hospital due to severe stomach pains. It's a blessing that her sister, Tita Mhay works at the Health Center. She was fetched by an ambulance and was immediately brought to Ramon Tabiana Memorial Hospital. She is now recovering but still under observation. According to Tita Monic, the doctor said she's almost dehydrated but as of last update from Papa, she's doing better now. Please please pray for her. Thanks a lot! Work Matters I have a project due today that's why when
