“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:8-10)
The greatest love stories are the stories of forgiveness, of love lost and found. Because the greatest act of love is to forgive. When Jesus was questioned of his friendship with the worst sinners, He simply said that He actually came for them. He made sense. You will not go look for something that is already there, nor will you heal someone who is not ill, will you? So if you think you're a sinner, if you feel lost, broken, or wounded, be happy and praise God! He came for you and He will never stop until He finds you, and when He does, He will bring you back to the Father's home where a grand celebration awaits. :)
