Today is the second of March and I would like to share two things. :)
1. Even in our waiting, God has a plan.
This has been the inspiration which I hold on to since January 13. An inspiration which Ate Tina shared and constantly reminds me about. Even in our waiting, God has a plan. I remember the movie Fireproof.
It's a story of hope, love, and faith. Of trusting the Lord completely, surrendering to His will, believing that His plans are always better. It's a story about patiently waiting on the Lord. I particularly liked the soundtrack of that movie because it basically sums up the proper attitude towards waiting, the attitude I've been trying to adopt while I wait on the Lord's promises. :)
Sing along with me. :)
While I'm Waiting (John Waller)
I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait
I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait
I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord
Just like the description of this video says, "When God is silent, we are to still worship & serve Him!"
2. Live simply.
I lost my almost empty Pilot G-Tec. Since last year, I've been using that pen to write on my Belle De Jour Planner. Now that it's gone, I'm thinking of buying a new one. But I realized I still have a lot of unused pens. They may not be G-Tecs, but they are all working. And so instead of spending P70 for a new G-Tec, I decided to just use the pens that I have.
Rule # 1 on Living Simply: Check your things before buying anything. :)
Leaving you today with this thought: Live simply so others may simply live.
God bless, people! :)
