I finally got to visit SM Aura last November 16. I went there not to shop nor to dine, but to attend a business to blogger event called Blogapalooza!
Organized by Anton Diaz of Our Awesome Planet and Vince Golangco of When In Manila, Blogapalooza is a community of small and big businesses who have something awesome to share and people who just love to share.
I was privileged to be part of it. I've been blogging since 2006 but the Blogapalooza was the first blogging event that I have attended. At first I was hesitant to submit an application because I don't really think I'm an "influential blogger" but my service partner/travel buddy/best boyfriend encouraged me. Thankfully, my application was approved, and now I'm determined to bring my blog to the next level! :D
So let me share the highlights of a day of many firsts for me. :)
Comedy with a class: Derf Hebrado of Comedy Cartel. :)
Food Exhibitors: Plato Wraps & Gavino's Donuts
Thanks much for the free food, Cafe France Corp! :)
Witty Tim Tayag of Comedy Cartel. :)
Megaworld's booth with lots of prizes. :)
Eagle's Wings Booth where we claimed our loot bags. :)
Tony Toni, Slick Rick, and Sam YG of Boys Night Out sharing about podcasting.
With Happy Easter wishing you a Merry Christmas! :)
Mr. Chooks & Ms. Easter ♥
Thank you Blogapalooza for these early Christmas gifts! ♥
So how has life been since Blogapalooza? Well, I received several event and write-up invitations from some of the businesses I've met last November 16. I also got a package from Enjoy Philippines which includes two booklets filled with discount coupons to the best establishments in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, and Davao!

Overall, the Blogapalooza experience was awesome! Not only did I gain knowledge and free products to try (in fact, I still haven't used some of the GCs that I got), more importantly, I gained inspiration and affirmation to keep writing and sharing my thoughts online. Best of all, my father, who was so skeptic about my love for blogging (he would often scold me before for staying up late just because I'm blogging), finally understood my passion and even encouraged me to continue with what I am doing as long as it makes me happy and fulfilled. :)
Blogapalooza is one of the reasons why November is truly a month to remember! ♥
