Last Tuesday, I turned 33 (though I'm still feeling 22 😅) and it's my first time to celebrate my birthday as Paolo's wife. 😊
So today, allow me to share what it's like to spend my special day as a married woman.
When I got out of the bathroom, Pao was already holding this beautiful cake. 😍
Good thing I didn't open the ref the night before. Otherwise, I would have spoiled his surprise. 😁 But because my husband is such a genius, may "Plan B" daw siya. Thus, the note. 😂
While I was washing the dishes, my husband was busy installing our towel rack. Then I did the laundry while he was installing the window blinds.
For lunch, I decided to cook noodles (for long life 😁). And my "misis" heart was very happy when Paolo commented, "para akong nasa restaurant." 🥰🥰🥰 You see my husband is the better version of myself, and it's not an exaggeration to say that everything I can do, he does way better. That's why his compliments really mean a lot. 😊
After doing some household chore, we decided to relax by watching Boku No Hero. 🙂
Thankfully, my brothers from SFC joined us and they gifted me with this beautiful nativity set. 🥰
We went home with filled hearts and tummies. ❤️
This is my only solo photo on that day, and I just realized, it's the perfect photo to sum up the past 32 years of my life. Like this photo, my life has been a mixture of ups and downs, tears and laughter, joys and sorrows, sickness and health, success and failures... and the only constant thing was the abundance of God's love and grace, which makes those 32 years (and definitely the years to come) BEAUTIFUL! ❤️
That's why every single day, I thank the Lord for all that has been and all that will be. 🥰
Cheers to 33 and a lifetime of God's unfailing providence. 😊
