Love Is A Verb ❤️

I travelled to Baguio last weekend to attend the graduation of the last batch of cadets I took care of during CFC Singles for Christ's Christian Life Program back in 2015. My husband was not able to come but he made sure I'd have everything I need for the trip. ❤️ He took a half-day leave on Friday to prepare my food and to bring my things (so that I don't need to bring a lot of stuff in the office). He met me and Ate Chie at Galleria that night and accompanied us to the bus terminal. Much to my surprise, he also prepared something for Ate Chie (most likely a bribe to remind her to take care of me 😂).  And so I had a very emotional (in a good way) weekend in Baguio. I got to see and talk to my girls, I bonded with my SFC brothers and sisters, and finally got to eat at Arca's Yard and Cafe Adriana . Every now and then, he would send me a text message to check how I was doing, if I had already eaten (I've been following a strict diet - food and timing - si...

Why Human Nature? ❤️

In my last post , I shared about my desire and commitment to pursue my passions, including  Human Nature . I also gave a little background about the brand. This time, allow me to share some more reasons why I super love them. I actually saw the list when I visited their branch at SM North Edsa (The Block). Without further ado, here are 10 REASONS WHY HUMAN ❤️NATURE  MEANS GOODNESS :  1. It is a social enterprise working to lift Filipinos out of poverty.  2. They don't make whitening products because they believe we are beautiful the way God made us .  3. 100% of profits from Bug Shield go to community development .  4. They never paid just minimum wage! Since day one, they've been paying living wages .  5. They stick with their people. They have a NO FIRING policy. 6. They use ingredients which can grow in the Philippines.  7. Everything they do is grounded on their pro-Philippines , pro-poor , pro-environment ...

Passion Pursuit ❤️

Last Thursday night, I had the privilege to speak with a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Ms. Celine Sugay . Thanks to Belle De Jour's Freedom to Dream Summit . 😍 We talked about my dreams and goals for the year. One of those is to pursue a career in selling. 😁 Actually I just want to grow my little side hustle: Human Nature dealership. ❤️ Late last year, I decided to set up my own online shop . But I haven't really given much time to promote it. I have my reasons (mostly fear and doubts) but talking to Ms. Celine made me realize a greater "WHY." 😊 I shared in my online profile that at the start of the third decade of my life, I promised myself that I'd do everything I can to be better, stronger, and healthier in all aspects. Part of my journey to wellness is a major lifestyle change that includes switching to naturals. That's why I'm so grateful that there's Human Nature!!! 😍 And that, my friends, is my greater WHY. 😊 I signed up as...

Labor Day Honor List ♥

I've done tons of projects in my life but one I consider the biggest (so far) is our wedding. 😍 Yey! Finally, I'm sharing about it after five months!!! 😊 To be honest, I still feel like it just happened yesterday. And until now, I'm still overwhelmed at how the Lord worked through the people around us to make it such a beautiful occasion. It wasn't my "dream" wedding. But it's everything that I needed it to be. ❤️ And so today, on Labor Day, and on the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, allow us to honor the beautiful souls who worked so hard to make our wedding as perfect as it could be. Ceremony and Reception : Sta. Maria Della Strada Parish Church Thanks to Ate Tere and everyone in the Parish Office! And of course to Rev. Fr. Dante Martinez for saying yes to be our officiating priest. 😊 We will always remember your advice, Fr. Dante. ❤️ Flowers:   L&R Flowershop Thanks to Ryan and his team for accommodating all our requests...
