"If I were to praise myself, it would count for nothing. But he who gives glory to me is the Father, the very one you claim as your God." (John 8:54)
Jesus never sought the approval and praises of people, nor did He commend Himself for His great works. Instead of boasting who He really is, He let His actions speak of His true nature. Human applause and recognition is nothing compared to the glory that God will give to the humble, faithful servants who strive to do what is pleasing to His sight. Great reward awaits the one who does the will of the Father. :)
