My Best Friend's Wedding ♥

So it has already been a month since Ray and Mars got married and I'm still on a high. :) It was the nearest that I got to the altar (so far) and like what I told a friend, parang pangarap ko na rin ang natupad. :)

I've attended a lot of weddings already and I have played almost every role (aside from being a principal sponsor and a bride), but last month's wedding was extra special. Ang lakas maka-good vibes. Probably because it's my best friend's wedding. And Mars is not just a best friend, but a sister I love so dearly. :)

Here are 12 reasons why:
1. We're both born on the 15th day of the 10th month (and it was a Wednesday).
2. We're both unica hijas.
3. We're both BDJ Bellas (she was actually the one who persuaded me to buy my first BDJ planner).
4. We both love to eat, sing, read, and learn.
5. We're both "raketeras". We write for extra income.
6. We blog too! :) Visit her site: www.delighteduniverse.com)
7. We could talk about anything and everything under the sun.
8. She nags but she does it very lovingly. smile emoticon
9. She knows everything about me, including my secret crush(es). :D
10. She sends me emails in the morning (which makes us pretty much like Rosie and Ruby - if you read the book :D).
11. She believes I can be great and encourages me to be my best self. :)
12. She feels for me. She cares for me. And she only wants the best for me. :)
I love her for all these reasons and more. She's not just a best friend but a true sister from another set of parents. Thank God for 12 beautiful years of friendship with this gorgeous lady. We've been through the best and worst of times together. We call ourselves "foreverfriends" and that's what we are going to be. ♥

Sisters for life. :)
Another reason why I still can't get over that wedding was the fact that I got to meet the most amazing suppliers! :D And yeah, I already told my brother (he's getting married next year) about them. I super recommend them because they're so easy to work with. Hindi nakaka-stress. Good vibes lang din. :D

Below are my top three favorites:

1. J Franco Digital Films - Sir Fritz and his team were so cool! Ang saya lang nilang katrabaho. :) And yes, sobrang fun din ng videos nila. :)

2. Anne Garcia - I so love her! I so love how she made me look beautiful without making me look like another person. Minsan kasi sa sobrang kapal ng makeup hindi mo na makilala yung sarili mo. Pero si Ms. Anne, she will just enhance your natural beauty. Hindi niya babaguhin ang itsura mo. :D Plus I love her stories too. :) Very inspiring. :)

3. Kredin, The Events Engineer - I used to think that you can actually have a great wedding without the help of coordinators. Well, kaya naman talaga, pero sobrang malaking tulong pala talaga sila. Ang laking bawas sa stress ng bride at ng maid of honor. :D

I also loved the idea of a photoman. Hindi na kailangang pumila sa photobooth. :D

Tweet2 Reunited. :) 12 years (and counting) of amazing friendship. ♥

So there, inunahan ko ng mag-blog si Mars. Haha. Sorry, Sis. I just can't help it. Happy thought lang talaga yung wedding mo. :)

Again, congratulations, Mr. Ray and Mrs. Marianne Mayol! Thank you for giving me the privilege to be part of your wedding, and your lives as well. I so love you both and I will always be here for you. Excited to meet my baby Mayol soon. :D

Wala mang forever, meron namang PALAGI. ♥

Understanding Lupang Hinirang

Every Filipino knows Lupang Hinirang (though some know it better as " Bayang Magiliw "). How can you not know it when it is the national anthem of the Philippines? But do we really mean the lyrics that we sing? Do we understand it in the first place?  Photo Credit:  http://diazi.ism-online.org This video has gone viral weeks ago. This afternoon, I shared it to my teammates, and one commented, "Yun pala yun . Ngayon ko lang naintindihan."   He immediately downloaded it and converted to MP3.   So for those who have not seen it, once again, here is Joey Ayala's version of Lupang Hinirang. And I agree, you would never want to sing it in another way. (But that's just me. :D) This rendition is simply beautiful. Truly Filipino. :) Of course that doesn't mean we need to revise our national anthem but maybe we can consider about correcting the way we sing it (read: proper pronunciation). Jesus Week 2015: A Time To HEAL ♥

I had the best, most meaningful HOLY WEEK ever, so far (the best is yet to come!). :) Thanks to Joy who shared the Jesus Week poster on Facebook. It was God's personal invitation, and I couldn't thank Him enough for the grace that He also gave me to respond. Everything is grace. It was not just my personal decision to join. It was God's grace that allowed me to.  So how did it go? Well, as what I have told my friends, it was amazingly beautiful! The experience was priceless! On Holy Monday, I posted Fr. Jerry Orbos' acronym for HOLY WEEK . I experienced all of that and more! :)  I won't be able to share everything as there is just a lot of personal, intimate encounters with the Lord. But if I were to summarize, it was a time for me to HEAL. :)  H alt . Indeed, I was able to stop and just rest in the Lord. Before leaving Manila, I have already told myself that this retreat will be all about Jesus ( Jesus Week nga e :D ). No emails, no texts, no calls. I

Thank You, Lord! :)

It has been a long and stressful day (the past three days have been lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng and stressssssssssssssssssssssssssssssful), but You are just so amazing, Lord that I couldn't sleep without telling You how grateful I am. :) Thank You, Lord for the miracle that You did yesterday. Break even and more. :) Thank You, Lord for the laughter and stories shared during the post-mission meeting with Team Thailand. :) Team Thailand - Princesses from SFC Metro Manila :) Thank You, Lord for Lawrence. He is just the (almost) perfect man. He has his flaws, but they are acceptable; he makes mistakes, but they are all forgivable. There are a lot of men but there can never be anyone else. He's really the one. And You know it very well. :) ♥ Nemo. Love. ♥ Thank You, Lord for giving me strength and endurance each day. :) Thank You, Lord for the short but restful sleeps. :) Thank You, Lord for every waking moment and every opportunity that You give

The Holy Spirit*

*Cluster 4 Household Topic Reflections from John 15:26-16:4 True friendship is strengthened in adversity. Jesus offers His disciples the best and truest of friends. Who is this promised friend?  Jesus calls the Holy Spirit our Counselor and Advocate (also translated Paraclete or Helper). Counselor is a legal term for the one who will defend someone against an adversary and who guides that person during the ordeal of trial. The Holy Spirit is our Advocate and Helper who brings us safely through the challenges and adversities we must face in this life. As Jesus approaches the hour that He was to be glorified - through His death on the cross and His resurrection - He revealed more fully to His disciples the person and the role of the Holy Spirit. What does Jesus tell us about the Holy Spirit?  First, the Holy Spirit is inseparably one with the Father and the Son. It is the Holy Spirit who gives life - the very life of God - and who kindles faith in hearts receptive
