It was Mama Mary's birthday yesterday (since it's already the 9th of September) but with everything that happened, with all the blessings and surprises, it felt like I also celebrated my birthday! :)
On Friday I represented the ministry at the Department Heads Meeting (and a Tito commented that I have a good voice.. ehem :D). After finishing my tasks, I went to my dear alma mater to join the SFC Team in celebrating Kuya Adrian's birthday. It was a coordination meeting / fellowship, and I really had a great time! :)

We then went to Technohub to experience Mezza Norte but because I still have my chapter household, I left early. I arrived in Kabisig just in time for the prayer. The topic was about honoring that no means no and we had a very healthy discussion. :) Ruby's place served as my temporary home as I spent the night there. On Saturday morning, we woke up early and prepared ourselves for a very long day. While having breakfast, we also fed ourselves spiritually with a TV mass officiated by Fr. Len. We passed by Kabisig Chapel for the CFC-Kids for Christ Global Day of Service then went to Kabisig Elementary School for the Cornerstone (we conducted Dolch Test). :)
After that, we (my chapter) went to San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish in Taytay to witness Mhean's wedding. I also had the chance to visit my high school best friend, Ruth, who lives near the church (that's why I wasn't able to make it to the group photo, but I got some chocolates from Ruth! :D). We hired a taxi to the reception venue and we (sisters) all had a good laugh during that 30-minute ride. :) At the reception, we were entertained by our very talented musicians, Ely, Alvie (who sang my request :D), and Leng. ♥ We also had our chance to sing a few songs. Thank God there's a videoke. :D After that very tiring event, I headed back to Ruby's place to take some rest. We had a little merienda and prepared for the mass. At 6PM, we were already at the Parish Church and during the final blessing, I received an abundant shower (literally, of Holy Water). After the mass, we all went to Bliss Chapel for our Christian Life Program (CLP).

It wasn't an ordinary but definitely a very blessed experience. I got to listen to Eyie, prayed the rosary with Alvie (who told me I should try the convent because I have an aura of a nun), talked to members who have been gone for quite sometime, and shared "Jesus experiences" with Ate Alma, Anne, and Caiselyn. :)
But the greatest blessing of September 8 was this:
Finally, my parents are now participants of the CFC Rosario Christian Life Program! And they had their orientation session on Mama Mary's birthday. :) I asked them about their experience and from their sharing, I am confident that they would finish the program and would soon become Couples for Christ! Yey! Such a great blessing! :)
Thank You very much, Lord! :) Happy birthday, Mama Mary! It was indeed a celebration of life, love, and faith! :)
