It's already the first of November but I'm still on GLS mode. :)
This isn't going to be a long post. I just want to share the highlights of my GLS experience, summarized into three small words: Graced. Loved. Sent. :)
1. Lawrence and I were able to attend the summit all because of God's grace. Do I need to elaborate? Read here. :)
2. That whole weekend in Thailand was an expression of God's overflowing love and mercy. The sessions, the food, the venue itself, the people. The word "love" was written in everything I saw, heard, and experienced. If I need to be particular, I'd pick the Emmaus Walk as the best part of the summit. God gave me the perfect partner to share that special journey with. Thank you, Ate Lags, for listening to my stories and for sharing your experiences as well. I learned a lot from you. Rest assured that everything that you made me realize during our walk will be remembered, treasured, and applied. :) Thank You for being one of the most beautiful faces of God's love and mercy during the summit. :)

3. I've been in the community for five years already, but after the GLS, I am more convinced that I still have a lot to do. This is just the beginning. God allowed me and Lawrence to be at the summit to be blessed, inspired, and empowered, not to question "what's next?" but to boldly declare, "We are ready, Lord! Send us."
Today, as we remember the saints who have lived their lives in obedience to God, I am being reminded of the community's mission (Building the Church of the Home. Building the Church of the Poor.) and vision (Every single man and woman all over the world experiencing Christ.). And I take on the challenge to be part of God's army who will work towards the fulfillment of that mission and the realization of the vision.
I am graced to be a witness, loved to be an instrument of love, and sent to set the world on fire and win it for Christ. :)
I'm ready to go! And I'm starting with this blog. :)
You may not know it, Sis MJ, but you have inspired me to rekindle and pursue my passion to blog for God. Thanks for the encouragement. :) |
