[June 6]
Such is the title because once again, we got lost in Bangkok. :D We were supposed to go to MBK but we rode the bus to Ratchapruek instead of going to Sathorn. And we only realized it after the third or fourth station. Those of you who are familiar with the transport system in Bangkok, there's what they call the BRT. It's a public transportation (bus) with it's own lane (special lane) that brings commuters from Sathorn all the way to Ratchapruek. So we got down at the wrong platform and just decided to get off at the last station and work our way from there. We knew we were going far from the city when we passed by the bridge that crosses Chao Phraya. We tried to see what's in store in each of the station that we pass by but we found nothing interesting until we reached the terminal station where The Mall is located.
Instead of MBK, God brought us to The Mall, one of the malls owned by the princess, so they say. It's such a happy thought that we were able to actually explore all the malls owned by the princess: Siam Paragon, The Emporium, and The Mall. God is indeed a great God who wants nothing but the grandest of everything, simply the best for us, His beloved children. :)
So what did we find after being lost? We found Dunkin Donuts and Watsons! :D Hooray! :) I've been looking for a Watson's store in Bangkok and God knew I really needed to buy something there so He made a way for me to find it. :) But more than the Dunkin Donuts and the Watsons, there were also McDonalds and KFC in that mall, which makes it a little more familiar than the others. Plus there's really a lot of cute stuffs there. :) We were able to buy a shirt, souvenir puzzles, and a photo frame. :) And because it's just a BRT away from our accommodation, we got back at exactly 7pm, just in time (actually way early) for the service meeting. :)
God is truly all-knowing, all-powerful, ever constant. He knows exactly what we need even before we utter a word. And you know what's even more amazing? We found out when we got home that there was a rally near MBK. God didn't bring us there to save us from the hassle. :) Isn't He great?
In life we lose people, we lose things, and sometimes, we lose ourselves. But today's experience only reminds us that in everything we lose, there is something better that we gain. We were once lost, but we were found and we are caught in the warm and loving embrace of a God who knows better and who has a greater plan for our lives. :)
Thank You for once again showing us how great You are, Lord! :) I love You too! :)
