[June 4]
Day 3 in Bangkok started slow as I was still recovering from sickness. We just spent most of the day at home, keeping in touch with our family and friends in the Philippines. Thanks to Facebook and Skype, we're still connected with our dearest ones. :)

For dinner, we tried to explore the many options just outside the condo. And we ended up having a sumptuous meal at Charlie Brown's. :) Super delicious, super affordable, big servings, and super great customer service. :) They also have a free wi-fi! Really a great place to chill and dine. Here's a word of caution, though: ask first if what you would like to order is spicy (especially if you don't like spicy food). I ordered for a soup which looked very delicious. When I tasted it however, I never had the courage to eat it again. It's just too spicy. Good thing I only got a little. But overall, I loved the Charlie Brown's experience. And to make it more of a romantic dinner date, Lifehouse's You and Me was played on the background. Sweet dinner it is. :)

Finally, we have found our favorite drink! Yey! It may sound simple but to us it's a big deal since we've been looking for it the moment we arrived here. It looks a little different than the one that we have in the Philippines but it's the same brand. Thanks to 7-Eleven our Bangkok stay is already complete. :)) They only have strawberry, lychee, and orange flavors and so we decided to buy all three. :D
We went home very happy and fulfilled. We're not really that hard to please. As long as there's our comfort drink, then everything is cool. :)
Thank God for these everyday blessings and simple joys. :)
May God be praised! :)
