According to my very witty best boyfriend, ABUNDANCE = ABUN (abono) + DANCE. He said that after hearing the litany of problems that our family currently faces. For the past two days, I've been speaking about ABUNDANCE - my personal battle cry this year. I meant abundance of everything that's good and beautiful but the enemy definitely wants otherwise.
Yesterday, Lolo Banoy (Papa's father) died. I had to pawn my laptop to be able to send money for the interment expenses.
This evening, I learned that Tita Ching (Mama's sister) needs to undergo brain CT scan. She was admitted last January 1 and until now, she is still in the hospital.
And the list of family problems (read: problems within the family) goes on. Abundance indeed.
I wanted to shout and scream: Lord, this is not the abundance that I mean!
I'm not really complaining. I'm just saying. :) And God responded immediately through Lawrence.
ABUNDANCE = ABUN + DANCE. Kailangan ko munang mag-abono at mag-dance (sa sayaw ng buhay) before I can have abundance.
That explains everything. :)
We may have an abundance of problems now, but with God's grace and providence, we will definitely overcome! It just takes sacrifice (no pain, no gain), perseverance, discipline, prayer, and ultimately, faith and confidence in a God who provides, heals, saves, protects, and never fails! ♥

I desire abundance. I claim abundance. Because God's Love is extravagant, and His generosity cannot be outdone. That, I know for sure. :)
