Song Of The Beloved

This will be sung by the CFC Global Community during the Behold and Ponder Conference  on Saturday, January 11, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Such a beautiful song for reflection and adoration. Feel free to share. :) Song of the Beloved  Music and Lyrics by Tito Arnel Santos January 1, 2014, Feast of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God You greet me “Peace!” You bring me joy You let my heart not be troubled. With your smile and tender love You let my heart not be troubled. Hide me in your arms, hold me tight. Let me behold you, my beloved ‘Mom’. You sing to me a lullaby. You let my heart not be troubled. You pray for me to lift me up And let my heart not be troubled. Draw me closer, hold my hand. Teach me to ponder, to see your Beloved Son. Oh Mother Mary, Mother of God Mother of Jesus, our Savior! Oh Virgin Mother, full of grace All generations call you “Blessed”! Make our hearts desire to be on fire for Him And every ...

#ILOVEMYHOUSEHOLD ♥

In SFC, you'll know that a new year has started when you have already started your first household! We had our first household tonight and now I'm singing, " we've only just begun... " No long post for today. Just a quick note to thank God for sending me people with whom I share this SFC journey. Here's to a better, brighter, lovelier 2014 with my God's greatest gifts - my household! ♥ Starting the year right with the right people! :) And may I just share this poem which I first learned from Ate Leah? It just best describes the photo above. ♥ Persons Are Gifts  Persons are gifts which God sends me...wrapped!  Some are wrapped very beautifully;  They are very attractive when I first see them.  Others have been mishandled in the mail.  Some come in very ordinary wrapping paper.  Once in awhile, there is a “special delivery”.  But the wrapping is not the gift. It is so easy to make that mistake.  Sometimes th...

A Mother's Love

I've been suffering from dysmenorrhea and migraine since Sunday. Yesterday, I had the worst attack. When Papa and Mama got back from the Dr. Mariano's clinic (for Papa's check-up), she handed me the referral letter to Dr. Rey's friend OB, Dra. Mirlu. I don't really like going to clinics/hospitals because I know I'll be spending a lot (remember I'm doing the 52 Week Challenge ) but at that time, I badly needed some help (and relief).  Mama was with me during the consultation but she had to go home by lunch time to attend to Papa's needs (she had to make sure Papa gets to drink his medicines). I was left alone at Salve Regina trying to calm my worries by watching Eat Bulaga. While waiting for my name to be called in the Radiology Department, I noticed that most of the patients coming in were children accompanied by their mothers and grandmothers. I only saw one father accompanying his teenage son.  Finally, my name was called. I was examined, got...

Starting Again

Something good is going to happen to me, this very day, this very year Something good is going to happen to me, Jesus is blessing my way I remember Tito Noy singing this during a recollection at the GMC. Today, I'm singing this with conviction. :) The past days were difficult (and painful in all aspects) but they're all a thing of the past and have already come to pass because I believe that every day is a new beginning . I just need to  take a deep breath , start again , and continue to hope that today is better than yesterday and the best is yet to come! Every sunrise is a fulfillment of a promise - God's promise of love and providence. And as I wake up to a beautiful sunrise, I thank the Lord for a brand new day, an opportunity to start again, and I declare abundance of every good thing today, for the rest of the year, for the rest of my life. :) There is hope in every sunrise. :) I say hooray for today ! ♥ (I just love this Mc Donald's TVC!) ...

What Would God Say?

Have you ever wished you could hear from God in the midst of trial? You can know His words because He has written a love letter to you. When you read the Bible, you can gain a glimpse into His heart. Some of the best words you will ever hear Him say are these: "Be still, and know that I am God."  (Psalm 46:10) These words apply in every situation. He is inviting you to stop everything, relax, and be still. If you continue to run at breakneck speed, rushing through your daily responsibilities, you will miss the main truths in your life: who God is, what He does, and what He says. Slowing down and stopping long enough to draw near to God will help you see the truth that God is infinite, eternal, and all-powerful. He is enough for whatever you face in your life. Think on His simple yet profound words today: "I am God." He is the One you need every day. Lord, I need You today, and I rely on You. Amen.  Source: Quiet Time Moments for Women by Catherine Martin ...

Follow That Star

We celebrate today the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord. Unlike last year , I wasn't able to attend the first Mission Core Assembly for 2014 due to dysmenorrhea and migraine. Instead, I attended the children's mass at Sto. Rosario De Pasig Parish Church.  Fr. Lito Jopson gave a beautiful reflection on today's Gospel. He stressed three important lessons from the story of the wise men:  1. Desire to see God. 2. Actively search for Him.  3. Have courage to follow where He leads you.  Because true wisdom comes from God alone. :) Yes, it's still Christmas! :) Everyday that we give birth to Christ in our hearts, it will always be Christmas. After all, as Fr. Joel Jason beautifully wrote,  Christmas is not about a holiday. It is about Christ .  It is an event of faith that carries with it a summon, a challenge, a task that can be threatening when we take it seriously. And while He is Emmanuel (with us), we still need to desire to s...

The Road To Financial Abundance :)

As mentioned in the previous posts, I'm declaring 2014 as the YEAR of ABUNDANCE! And even if there is an abundance in problems (not what I really want, but I know they will all come to pass), I'm still determined to journey towards financial abundance. :) Thus, I'm taking the 52 Week Challenge ! I've shared the templates that I made with my teammates in MIST. Our genius programmer, EJ, took the liberty of tweaking them a little and came up with a better - more detailed - tools. Sharing them here and inviting you to journey with us as we head on the road to abundance! :) Note: I'm not (yet) a financial expert. I (and EJ) made these templates for our personal (and team) use. If you think these tools can help you achieve your financial goals, then feel free to download them. :)  1. 52 Week Challenge  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnWUblglOatndDRMM0lNc2RMdmxpSXhrMFBXUnB3T1E&usp=sharing There are three sheets to work on: weekly , p...
